Delicious IndoPak food, run by some bangalis and has been around for probably the last 30 years, remember it since I was child and still go a few times a year despite living further away now. Not fancy but Good people.
Amazing Bihari kebab and kebabs. And pretty spacious seating for the area. Reasonably priced. Places like this make Toronto a multicultural foodies dream destination.

I recently indulged in the weekend special for just $10 in Toronto, and it was an absolute steal! The food was both delicious and satisfying, offering incredible value for money. What made the experience even better was the exceptional service. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely cared about making sure we had a great time. Whether you're looking for a tasty meal or top-notch service, this place is a must-visit, especially on weekends! Highly recommended.

Staff are friendly. I have tried their butter chicken and beef curry. Both were very flavorful and the portions were big that I could have them for two meals. Reasonable prices. Highly recommended!

I’m not sure why but I really love this place, has a home cooked feel to it. I have ordered from here a few times and I like the rice and chicken from the biriyani, could be more spicy-i might just be numb to it tho. I also tried the chicken samosa and chicken roll. Got the Samosa fresh and hot and was great!!! Enjoyed the sauce that came with it. The roll was cold and I feel like I’ve had better take your chance with it tho because normally their food is great. Also had butter chicken and it was very sweet and lots of chicken, personally I would have preferred more sauce. I enjoyed the veggies it came with wish there was more!!! Yummy meal

A no frills Bangladeshi restaurant, the chicken biriani is one of the best under $10 meal in Toronto.

Fresh off the grill BBQ items, rightly spiced!
The food taste more than makes up for the lack of atmosphere!
The lamb chops and BBQ platter were done just right.
Spicy Haleem provided a kick.
The chicken tikka masala was different but very flavorful
Extremely good value for money.
The owner was extremely helpful in ordering the right amount of food for our group of 6.
Will be definitely going back for comfort food!!

My family has been coming here for maybe 30+ years. It has never disappointed. The food is delicious, a great price, and with great service. And the workers are incredibly friendly too. I just want to make a note about another Makkah restaurant that appears to have an identical menu, and also be on Danforth road. I am unsure whether it is another branch of this locations but if not, it is incredibly weird to see a copycat restaurant operating. I accidentally ordered from them, and the food was not nearly as good as the food we get from here. It seemed that while they have identical menu items, their recipes are all slightly different. Please make it clear on platforms like Maps or socials whether this is another location, or entirely separate business because I do not want to support anyone profiting off of anothers name even by mistake. I feel that it can cause reputational harm to Makkah itself as especially through Uber it is not easy to tell the difference given the identical names, and menus.

My brother, cousin, and I stopped at Makkah Indian Restaurant on the Danforth for lunch while exploring the area, and we’re so glad we did! The food was absolutely delicious — full of flavor and perfectly spiced. I ordered my go-to Palak Paneer, and it was spot on: creamy, rich, and just the right amount of spice.
The portions were generous, prices fair, and the service was warm and welcoming. We all left saying the same thing — we’d definitely come back. Highly recommend if you’re in the neighborhood and craving authentic Indian food!

This place is absolutely incredible. I can’t wait to go back and get more. A solid spot — even the guy in line told me it’s the best kebab around, and I believe him. The flavours are bold and satisfying, and the clientele themselves are proof of its authenticity. Its longevity says it all — consistent food and genuine service that’s clearly kept the community coming back for years.
